The All-American Rejects star Tyson Ritter has sworn off marriage until he hits his 30s - because he's fed up with women who want him to make a serious commitment. The 25 year old broke up with his model girlfriend of six years, Kim Smith, earlier this year and he admits he has been struggling to find a partner "with substance".

Now he's vowing not to settle down for a few more years - so he can enjoy the single life for as long as possible.

He tells Kerrang! magazine, "My advice is, 'Dudes, don't close up shop (marry) if you're still in your 20s.' You're a f--king idiot if you do and that's from the heart and my own experience...

"Meeting women with substance is f--king impossible. I'm over looking for girls, man. At this point in my life, I've learned that it's easier to have a relationship with myself than to try to keep up with somebody who wants the whole domesticated bliss s--t... So far, there have been quite a few Mrs. Wrongs!"
