Mika:'I Hate Taking My Clothes Off'Singer Mika has dismissed his stripping antics in the video for his single We Are Golden - insisting he "hates" taking his clothes off in real life. The quirky Grace Kelly star dances around in the promo for the song in nothing more than a pair of white boxer shorts.

However, Mika insists he finds it strange to be known for flaunting his body - because he's usually so reserved. He says, "I'm so prudish. I hate taking my clothes off and it seems funny that I'm now known for running around and dancing in my underpants!"

The star revealed his fears of garnering attention stem from being bullied at school, insisting the taunts about his camp character left him "cripplingly shy."

He adds, "As a teenager I was a coward and a loser. I was shy. I was very camp in my own way but I didn't realize I was. I was bullied for being different. It was so bad that I was worried about surviving into my 20s."
