Comedian Russell Brand has fueled reports he's ready to settle down with girlfriend Katy Perry after splashing out $3.52 million on a new Los Angeles lovenest.

The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star is alleged to have proposed to Perry last week after spending the run-up to the Christmas holiday together in his native Britain.

The couple spent Christmas Day oceans apart as the "I Kissed A Girl" hit-maker jetted back home to L.A. to celebrate the festive season with her family, while Brand remained in London.

But the funnyman appears to be making moves to relocate to California permanently - he's placed his home in north London on the market for $4 million and purchased a 1920s-style house on the West Coast.

The lavish four-story home boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a powder room and an outdoor swimming pool.
