Kate Hudson has split from baseball star Alex Rodriguez, according to reports. The "Nine" star has been dating the 3rd Baseman for the 2009 World Champion New York Yankees since the beginning of the year, but she has been fiercely protective about the union, refusing to talk about the romance.

Rodriguez sparked speculation he and Hudson had parted ways earlier this month, when he was spotted partying alone in Miami, Florida, and now a source close to the pair has confirmed the couple has split, telling website GossipCop.com, "It's true."

A spokesperson for Hudson had not commented on the allegations as WENN went to press.
