Roman Polanski's Latest Film To Be Distributed By 'Twilight' Studio
The Rosemary's Baby auteur is currently under house arrest after being taken into custody by Swiss authorities in September. He is waiting to see whether the country will extradite him to the U.S. to face sentencing for a child sex charge.
Polanski has lived in exile in Europe ever since he fled America in 1978 after pleading guilty to having sex with a 13 year old girl in 1977.
But despite the controversy, the director's latest film, The Ghost Writer, will not suffer - Summit Entertainment has signed as the distributor of the film in North America.
And the movie, which stars Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor, has had no problem selling to other studios across the globe - with Summit stating it had been snapped up in all other major territories.
Brosnan recently supported his filmmaker pal - calling for the case to be speedily dealt with so Polanski can get on with his life.
