Natalie Portman can always rely on her good pal Rashida Jones to cheer her up whenever times get tough, because she's full of love.

The actress, 28, admits she has a close-knit group of female friends in Los Angeles who are always there for her - but it's Jones, the actress daughter of music mogul Quincy Jones, who is her biggest supporter.

She tells Marie Claire magazine, "(Jones) would fight beasts 10 times her size to protect the people she loves. She is the kind of friend who can sub in and love you through the times when you can't necessarily love yourself."
