Def Leppard Sued For $700,000
Trudy Green, who began managing the band in 2005, is suing the Pour Some Sugar on Me hit-makers and their accountants, claiming she's not been paid for her work on the group's 2008 and 2009 concerts.
She alleges she is owed $75,000 in commission for the 2008 trek, and $85,725 from merchandise sales, as well as $551,250 from this year's U.S. tour.
The court documents, obtained by RadarOnline.com, state, "Plaintiff (Green) was not paid its earned commissions... After the Band had been paid, (Green) spent the next several months working with Def Leppard's accountants and other professionals to determine the amount of commissions due, and to ultimately receive payment."
Green is suing for breach of oral contract, fraud, and intentional interference of a contract. The website reports she is demanding at least $700,000 in damages, and seeking a jury trial.
