Axl Rose Blames Paparazzi For Airport Fight Representatives for Guns N' Roses star Axl Rose have confirmed the singer was involved in an altercation with photographers on Wednesday night, blaming "aggressive" snappers for the scuffle.

The rocker was at Los Angeles' LAX Airport to catch a flight to Taipei, Taiwan, where the band will play a much-anticipated concert on Friday, when he was allegedly involved in a bust-up with cameramen.

Rose has now released a statement through his representatives, blaming the photographers for causing trouble by acting "aggressively" towards him and several female members of his entourage.

The statement reads, "Axl Rose was unhurt last evening when he was accosted by an unruly group of paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Mr. Rose, who was about to enter a security checkpoint at LAX when the altercation took place, was approached by a group of unchecked and unruly photographers who became aggressive with the singer and female members of the traveling group. Mr. Rose was not injured during the unprovoked attack and was able to board his flight without further incident."
