Paris Hilton and her family showed their charitable side by opening up their Los Angeles home to a group of ill children last month.

The hotel heiress, along with her mother Kathy and sister Nicky, teamed up with the Starlight Children's Foundation to give a handful of chronically and terminally ill youngsters a day to remember.

The trio opened up the family mansion in Beverly Hills and spent the day playing party games and looking after the kids.

Starlight spokeswoman Donna DeDario tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "It was a small, intimate gathering so they gave the children lots of one-on-one attention. They were so natural and welcoming, running around and playing games in their high heels."

The Hilton family has also designed T-shirts in conjunction with clothing store Forever 21 to be sold in aid of the charity.
