Neil Young To Be Honored At Winter OlympicsCanadian rock icon Neil Young will be honored at the upcoming Winter Olympics in Vancouver as part of an all-star tribute concert.

Members of Broken Social Scene and Iron & Wine will join singer/songwriter Ron Sexsmith among the artists confirmed to appear at the celebration of Canada's favorite son in February.

The Queen Elizabeth Theatre event will be produced by Hal Willner, who recently won acclaim for organizing a concert tribute to another Canadian, Leonard Cohen, in Australia. The concert footage went on to become a big part of 2005 documentary Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man.

Next year is already shaping up to be a big one for Young - he'll also be honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year on the eve of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in January.
