Nicole Richie Granted Restraining Order Socialite Nicole Richie has been granted a permanent restraining order against two members of the paparazzi who allegedly caused her car accident in October.

The new mom appeared in court to appeal for the order in Los Angeles on Monday and admitted she was "hysterically crying" after the crash. Richie, who took to the stand despite feeling unwell, told Judge Carol Boas Goodson that both Eduardo Arrivabene and Ivon Miguel had been tailing her vehicle prior to the accident.

Her partner Joel Madden also testified against the pair and confirmed that Richie was extremely distressed following the crash. Before granting the restraining order, Judge Goodson expressed concern over he situation Richie found herself in, stating, "The court is extremely concerned about future accidents."

The court order, which will remain in effect until November 12th, 2012, ensures the two photographers stay 50 yards away from Richie and her vehicle, as well as her children, Harlow and Sparrow, or any car they are traveling in.

Arrivabene was arrested and charged with driving without a license immediately after the accident. He has since been released on $1,225 bail.
