Juvenile Chokes Up Over Daughter's Murder
The hip-hop star, real name Terius Gray, was left in shock when little Jelani, his ex-girlfriend Joy Deleston and her other daughter Micaiah were fatally shot by Deleston's 17-year-old son, Anthony Terrell Jr., in February 2008. Juvenile is slowly moving on from the tragedy but admits he gets choked up whenever he discusses the sad incident.
He says, "You don't get over things like that. That's something that goes with you for the rest of your life. (You cope with) time to yourself. I'm not even comfortable talking about it."
Juvenile, who is preparing to release his first album since the slayings, admits he relied heavily on his loved ones during the trying time and would not have made it through without their support. He adds, "I got (sic) a great wife, good brother, great momma. My family is good."
Juvenile will make his rap comeback with the release of Cocky & Confident in December, his first disc in three years.
Terrell, Jr. was charged with three counts of murder and three of aggravated assault, and is currently being held at Georgia's DeKalb County Jail.
