Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Wants Her Own Fashion Line
The singer/actress' career suffered a setback last month when she was dropped from the revamped TV show Melrose Place. She has since landed the part of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, reprising the role she performed on London's West End in 2006.
However, she is eager to turn her attention to the fashion industry and launch her own designs.
A source tells Star magazine, "Ashlee wants to start a clothing line. She wants it to be both preppy and punk rock. She thinks she can really succeed in fashion."
Jessica Simpson has established herself as a successful designer with her self-titled label encompassing clothes, shoes, handbags and nightwear
