90210Last night, 90210 viewers got another reminder of how bad Silver's childhood was. When Silver was ten, her mother got drunk and she had to cancel her camping birthday party. As a result, she started celebrating half-birthdays because the lower the expectation, the less likely she could be disappointed. This year, Silver was so busy taking care of Jackie that she wasn't concerned with her half-birthday. Jackie threw her a party to make up for the birthdays she'd missed, complete with outer space, camping and eighties-themed parties. At Silver's half-birthday barbecue, she tried to wake up Jackie but couldn't.

Jasper confronted Navid about what he'd told Annie and asked him to give him the benefit of a doubt. Jasper got Annie an audition for a movie his dad was producing and was still a good boyfriend, cheering her up after she didn't get the part. The two exchanged I Love Yous and Annie told Jasper she wanted him to be her first.

Hearing Silver talk about her friendship with Teddy sent Adrianna into the school bathroom to take more pills. Adrianna found Jasper and used the money for Silver's birthday gift to buy more pills as Navid looked on. Navid called Adrianna to tell her what he'd seen and she hung up on him.

Dixon's guilt about Sasha led to his mom telling him the truth about what happened with Sasha. Liam tried to tell Ryan the truth about what happened with Jen, but Ryan didn't want to hear it. Ivy tried to talk to Liam and he snapped at her, then Teddy, and picked a fight on the beach at surf practice. Liam's friends asked him what was wrong and he told them about not knowing how to solve the Jen problem. Since he doesn't want to hurt Naomi, I guess the tape recordings out. Ivy, Dixon and Teddy agreed to help him out. Later, Liam apologized to Ivy and asked her out again.

Liam finally told someone what was going on with Jen, so maybe he's a little closer to confessing to the person that needs to hear it the most. However, Teddy proved earlier in the season that he was excellent at manipulating others, so maybe he'll come up with a way that brings this never-ending storyline to a close. The highlight of the episode was seeing how hard Jackie worked to make things up with Silver. With her mom's health obviously declining, at least Silver had the chance to have all the birthdays she'd missed.
