Jack's Mannequin Andrew McMahonLast week, Andrew McMahon touched the hearts of dozens at a special screening of his documentary, "Dear Jack".

While McMahon has inspired audiences everywhere with his intense lyrics for Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin, this doc will leave you embracing life and respecting this individual in a different light, other than being a phenomenal musician.

Andrew takes a small cam-recorder and films his everyday life. He is faced with dozens of obstacles, from deciding to leave his band, Something Corporate, to even disappearing from his family and girlfriend, whom he loved and adored. Andrew had a feeling something "bad was about to happen" and needed to find himself.

Starting a new page in his book, Andrew proceeded to write lyrics for a new band, Jack's Mannequin. Working in the studio with a producer and with the help of Tommy Lee, the album, "Everything In Transit" seemed to sum up everything McMahon was feeling, as if it were a window to the future.

Two months before the album was set to be released, Andrew had to cancel a show and was admitted into the hospital. On June 8, 2005, Andrew McMahon was diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia.

"Dear Jack" follows every emotion, every second and every pain Andrew, his family and the record label had to endure in the hard but inspiring moments of their lives.

While it is a touching film, it is a breath of fresh air and will show audiences a whole other side of Mr. McMahon; a side of determination, will power and life.

Get ready ladies and gentlemen; tears will fall so make sure a box of tissues is at hand!

"Dear Jack" comes out everywhere today so make sure to grab a copy at www.JacksMannequin.com/Dear-Jack , where a portion of the proceeds will go to the Dear Jack Foundation!
