Perhaps Brad Pitt is supporting his pal George Clooney, who stars in the upcoming film "The Men Who Stare at Goats." Pitt's beaded goatee is certainly making a statement. The question is: is that a good statement? See more photos after the jump.

Pitt showed off his facial hair at Narita International Airport in Narita near Tokyo, Japan, yesterday. He was there to attend the Japan premiere of his latest film "Inglourious Basterds" in Tokyo.

A new book called "Brangelina Exposed" will hit bookstores on December 1. It chronicles Pitt & Angelina Jolie's courtship, suggesting the stars aren't as in love as lead fans to believe. A press release promoting the new tome reads, "Brad and Angelina have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair's life together."
