Reality TV RoundUp: 'Real Housewives' Finale, 'Runway' Ban
I will start with the season finale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season finale, which only means one thing to me … "Orange County" is right around the corner. Since Ed has unfortunately retired from football, he and Lisa need to downsize their lifestyle. Their version of downsizing is a little bit different than ours, as the couple still finds a way to live in a multi million-dollar mansion.
I said Ed unfortunately retired because he was a bad boy Linebacker in the Madden video game and I will miss taking people's heads off with him. Good luck in all your endeavors Ed.
I feel really bad for NeNe, which is saying a lot because … well … I am not really a fan of her, but when she started opening up about how she feels empty without knowing her biological father, I felt horrible for her. It is a feeling I will never know and I see the emotional toll it has taken on her.
Oh baby, and then the fight between Kim and NeNe. Both women were asking for it and NeNe felt betrayed Kim did not collaborate with her on the "Tardy for The Party" song. I had no idea NeNe wanted to be apart of the song and I do not think Kim did either. But Kim put her finger in NeNe's face and NeNe lost it.
NeNe supposedly put her hands on Kim's throat and Kim could not retaliate because, in the words of Kim, "she is a f'ing moose." Haha, oops, sorry not supposed to laugh at that stuff.
NeNe did not show any remorse for the incident and thinks she is completely innocent but NeNe is not. I told you I had reason not to like her. I am not picking sides here because I think Kim is a total moron too and I am looking forward to the Houswives of OC starting in November.
The Real World/Road Rules MTV Challenge (Wednesday on MTV) got a little crazy this week as Tonya was kicked off for slapping Veronica. If you are a fan of the show then you know when these two are together on a challenge, sparks are going to fly.
The Champs lost a player but it was only Tonya and they are still in control of the challenge. Danny was sent home because he lacks what it takes to stay in the game and lost to Darrell, a proven winner.
Sarah defeated Katie, who announced this would be her last challenge and I do not believe Katie, although she Tweeted earlier this week she is going back to school.
America's Next Top Model (Wednesday on CW) has picked up the pace recently but that does not mean it has been as close to as entertaining as the original show. Tyra and her comrades are entertaining but I don't think any of these girls has what it takes to be something special, except for Nicole.
This week the girls had to learn how to be a host on TV, as they used the teleprompter, interviewed a guest, and had to take cues from the director. The girls got to interview potential IT girl Jessica Stroup and Erin is declared the winner and she picks Jennifer and Rae to join her on the photo shoot.
Although Erin won the preliminary competition this week she was up for elimination with Rae. Both girls struggled in the latter part of the show and Rae was asked to go home because she does not stand out.
The Hills (Tuesday on MTV) was a fun one this week!
Kristin thinks she has everyone fooled by dating Justin and everyone knows they are not dating and only friends with benefits at this point. Kristin is starting to get fed up with Justin's attitude but that is because he is playing her all the while Kristin thinks she is playing him. Not the case hunny, you are not smart enough to fool my man JB.
Heidi's sister Holly got super drunk at an industry event and embarrassed Speidi and Stephanie. The group had a talk with Holly and told her to calm down and at first she felt like she was being attacked but realized she needs to chill with the booze. Good move Holly, you cannot handle the ah ah ah ah ah alcohol.
Out of nowhere Justin and Audrina meet at a hotel to discuss their relationship (as friends). Audrina wants to keep things the way they are but Justin is hesitant and I think he wants Audrina back.
JB got upset she went out with Derek and says she is his best GF ever, which makes Audrina say she wont go out with Derek anymore. JB has the ability to control Audrina and if they get together he should just put a ring on it.
Laurine packed her knives on Top Chef: Las Vegas, which has become an extremely boring show. I remember when the show had Marcel on it and it was at least mildly entertaining.
Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory had its season finale this week and it starred NBA hooper Carmelo Anthony and rapper Ludacris. Dyrdek, Luda, and Melo are all on the Tag Body Spray team and I am already looking forward to next season.
I am not allowed to watch Project Runway anymore, my GF hates it because, "it is not like it used to be!" Sorry fans but I am not messing with her.
Mallory got fired on Rehab (Tuesday on TruTV) and Matt got promoted and will work double duty. When is this show done?!
On Million Dollar Listing, Madison sold his sex therapist's house for nearly $1.5 million short of the original offer. Chad did not sell anything because his douche meter was off the charts and Josh leased a house. Tough times for the real estate biz.
