Madonna Returns To Malawi
Madonna is heading back to Malawi this weekend to launch her multi-million dollar girls school. The pop superstar has close ties with the African nation after adopting two children from the region - David Banda in 2006 and Mercy James earlier this year.
She formed her Raising Malawi charity to help improve conditions for Malawian kids, and the organization is currently building a $13.5 million facility to help educate girls in the capital Lilongwe.
Madonna will fly back to Malawi to lay a foundation stone at the complex. She also plans to meet with President Bingu wa Mutharika during the visit.
