50 Cent Wanted Mr.T Role
The hip-hop star is a big fan of the hit TV show and when he heard about plans to revive the classic series on the big screen, he vowed to land the role of Sergeant Bosco Albert 'B.A.' Baracus.
However, after auditioning in front of movie producers, the 33 year old - real name Curtis Jackson - had to pull out of because the shoot would have clashed with his music schedule.
He tells Total Film magazine, "I went for the B.A. Baracus role in The A-Team a few weeks ago but they'd already started shooting, so it would have kinda jammed things up at my end, because I've got my new album coming out."
Film bosses have hired mixed martial arts tough guy Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson to take on the iconic role. He will star alongside Bradley Cooper as Faceman Peck and Liam Neeson as A-Team leader Hannibal Smith.
The movie is due for release next year.
