Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is the latest celebrity to launch her own perfume. The Fergalicious singer - real name Stacy Ferguson - has teamed up with beauty giant Avon to bottle her signature scent, which hits stores next year.

The pop star insists she's honored to join the growing list of A-list stars, including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Hudson and Salma Hayek, who have worked with Avon.

She tells WWD.com, "Each one (Avon celebrity) is completely different, but they are all wonderful, strong women who have a purpose. It was very important to me to bring what I have to the table. I'm a bit more rock n' roll than some of the other artists, and Avon has really allowed my personality to come through."

The new venture was announced in the same week it emerged Fergie is buying a stake in the Miami Dolphins.
