'Balloon Boy' And Family Speak Out On TV - Was It A Stunt? (Videos)

Northern Colorado grabbed the nation's attention yesterday, as it appeared that a 6-year-old boy had climbed inside a floating balloon and was being carried thousands of feet above the ground. Now, the family faces tough questions as to how this happened.
Falcon Heene was not found within the balloon after it landed in a field - he was spotted in his attic, hiding from his family.
The Heene family appeared on NBC, and was questioned by Meredith Vieira:
On the Larry King show, the plot thickened. The father Richard Heene asked his son why he didn't reply to calls for him while he was hiding, he responded simply: "You guys said we did this for the show."
Wolf Blitzer, who was filling in for King, pressed on that very statement. Richard said his son was likely referring to the media coverage, and was appalled by questions that the entire ordeal was a PR grab for his weather-chasing experiments.
Earlier this year, the family exhibited bizarre behavior on ABC's Wife Swap.
What do you think? An honest mistake, or a grab for attention? Let us know in the comments.
