Lindsay Lohan Denies 'Stealing' Accessories
The Mean Girls star was said to have borrowed pieces from jeweler Arielle de Pinto during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month but left France without returning them as she had promised.
Now the actress has taken to her Twitter.com page to brush off rumors she stole the items. Lohan writes, "That's a lame lie. Especially considering the people at the company are my friends and we laughed at this. F for failed attempt."
It's the third missing jewelry scandal Lohan has been caught up in this year - in June editors at Britain's Elle magazine defended the star after pieces were stolen from her cover shoot for the publication.
Two months later, a Beverly Hills jeweler threatened to sue the 23 year old if she didn't return the $2 million worth of gems he loaned her for an event.
