Kate HudsonAlex Rodriguez's teammates have been warned to keep their partners quiet about Kate Hudson - in case their catty comments are leaked to the press.

The blonde beauty has been dating the New York Yankees star since November, and is often spotted supporting her man at his baseball games.

However, the wives of Rodriguez's fellow Yankee players reportedly haven't warmed to the Hollywood star, and have grown tired of Hudson's elaborate celebratory cheers when she's spectating.

But the players and their respective partners have been told not to mention Hudson to their social circles, as the backstabbing could create a whirlwind of bad press for the team, according to New York gossip column PageSix.

An insider tells the column, "The Yankees told the girls to be careful who they spoke to about Kate. They are concerned about the ramifications for the players."
