Lindsay Lohan burst into tears walking the runway after debuting her first collection with design house Emanuel Ungaro at Paris Fashion Week.

The Mean Girls star was appointed artistic adviser of the French brand just last month and has spent the last few weeks quickly putting together a line with head designer Estrella Archs.

On Sunday, the actress' efforts were on display for all the fashion world to see as models strutted down the runway wearing Lohan's blazers and mini-dresses at Paris' Louvre museum.

Lohan and Archs then took to the catwalk to take a bow but the emotional star began tearing up as she was applauded, and was seen clutching Archs' hand for support.

Speaking to reporters backstage, Lohan admitted the role she played in creating the range was "the hardest thing I've ever done."
