Seth MacFarlane Hits Back At Tina Fey's 'Drunk' Comments

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has hit back at 30 Rock star Tina Fey - after she suggested at this year's Emmy Awards that he struggles with alcohol abuse.

Presenting the show's first award last month Fey took a jab at MacFarlane in front of the star-studded audience and millions of TV viewers.

She said: "Let's linger on this magical time at the beginning of the evening when everyone is still a winner. And Seth McFarlane is only pretty drunk."

However, MacFarlane has defended his drinking - and admits he wishes Fey had targeted another celebrity during her speech.

He says, "You know, I was (drinking) but that's a seven hour long show... I was just kind of shocked like, 'Really? You can't find someone who is more recognizable?' I think most people were wondering, 'Who is that guy? And I wonder if he has a serious problem.'"
