Ryan Reynolds has stopped reading his fans' websites - because the action star has uncovered galleries of disturbing pictures of himself online.

The X-Men Origins: Wolverine actor admits he's gotten carried away looking at pages supporters have dedicated to his career - but their fantasies have become so unnerving, the actor is now avoiding the computer altogether.

He explains, "I have (read about myself online) before. It's a horrible thing to do. It's been a great equalizer because the last time I did, I found a couple of websites that are real."

"One was 'Make Ryan Reynolds Your Biatch'. I didn't get into it too much because I know there are going to be photo-shopped pictures of me with a ball gag and nipple clamps."
