New photographs of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel walking hand-in-hand appear to pour scorn on reports they split last month. The pictures, taken outside a restaurant in northern California on Monday, appeared online on the same day two new magazine reports suggested the couple's relationship was over.

Us Weekly claimed Timberlake ended his three-year relationship with the actress during a phone call back in August.

Star magazine went on to claim the singer is now pursuing an affair with Rihanna - following weeks of rumors linking the pair.

Representatives for the three stars have yet to respond to requests for a comment, but a source close to the couple has dismissed reports of a split.

The insider tells People.com, "They're together. They're not breaking up. Any time they spend time apart it's because they're working."

Biel has been filming the new A-Team movie in Canada with Bradley Cooper, while Timberlake has been spending time in Los Angeles and New York.

Last week Timberlake revealed that he's preparing for a "major mountain climb", a coincidence as Biel has a trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro planned to help raise clean water awareness.
