Marilyn Manson's concert promoters have contradicted the shock rocker's confession he's been diagnosed with swine flu.

Last week Manson claimed he was informed by doctors earlier this month he had contracted the virus.

In a post on his personal blog, Manson wrote, "So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU. I know everyone will suggest that f**king a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have, in 'no way' contributed to... me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive. M."

However, promoters for Manson's Canadian tour have denied the rocker has contracted the illness. A statement from the promoters reads: "The Gillett Entertainment Group and Live Nation confirmed today that contrary to rumors circulating, Marilyn Manson is not suffering from swine flu."

Manson wrapped his Canadian tour with shows in Halifax on Friday and Moncton, New Brunswick, on Saturday.

His online posts have since been removed.
