'Entourage' Recap: 'Scared Straight'

EntourageWith one episode left in the sixth season of Entourage the plot's pace has finally picked up.

This week was a wildly entertaining episode involving Drama suffering a heart attack, Eric possibly receiving an STD from a former Drama hook up (eww bro seriously), Turtle and his girlfriend (finally) breaking up, Ari potentially becoming the biggest agent in LA, and Vinny doing absolutely nothing.

Last week we saw Drama get out of his 5 Towns contract in hopes of joining the new Melrose Place cast and this week he auditioned for the role. Much to the dismay of Drama, he and the director of "Melrose 2.0" had a prior clash and drama started panicking when he saw who the director was.

(Remember a few seasons ago when Drama flipped out in the middle of an audition because the guy in the back was messing with his cell phone during Drama's audition? Yeah, that was the same director.)

After finding out who the director was and while in the middle of his audition, Drama also found out he was not the only candidate for the role. Superman Dean Cain accidentally interrupted Drama's audition, which provided the line of the night by Drama, "F*cking Superman."

Johnny was visibly upset and suffered a mild heart attack and I will admit I was scared for John but don't worry Viking Quest fans, our hero is healthy but the incident may have changed his life.

We will find out more next week about Drama's life alterations but this week Drama turned down another opportunity to audition for the role he once coveted because it didn't feel right.

Whatever JD. This is another prime example why you are a D List actor and it looks like you found another way to screw up your career.

Eric, unfortunately, also had a wild role in this week's episode.

Recently Eric has been cleansing himself of post-Sloan psycho Ashley Eric but he found out he had been hooking up with a former member of the Johnny Drama female fan club.

E freaked out when Drama told him he hooked up with the same girl four months prior but Eric really freaked out when Drama told him she might have given him something in the process.

Eric spent the rest of the episode at the doctor's office for before he ended the episode by telling the boys he wants Sloan back (rolling my eyes).

Turtle and Jamie had been going through a rough couple weeks as Turtle has been drawing some unexpected attention from a UCLA sorority gal. Jamie left for New Zealand for work but before she did, she broke up with Turtle. He was devastated and as a man I hope Turtle takes advantage of the UCLA girl opportunity.

Ari drew an unexpected visit from his old boss Terrence who offered Ari a chance to buy him out and become the biggest agent in LA. Ari began to question why Terrence was selling and found out Terrence will soon be losing half his money in an upcoming divorce. Terrence needs all the money he can get and Ari knocks $25 million off the deal and settles to buy his former boss/mentor/nemesis out for $75 million.

Congrats Ari.

Grade B+.

Wildly entertaining, watched it twice but why am I looking forward to the season ending?

Thoughts:

As I mentioned Vinny did nothing this week but he is leaving next week to finally film the Marty Scorsese flick and will be gone for four months.

Why is Jamie making fun of Turtle's Boyz II Men collection? I proudly have Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and Ashlee Simpson in my library.

Looks like Ari will become Lloyd's boss once again.

Sloan and Jamie add an unnecessary element to the plot.
