Dennis Quaid's brother Randy and his wife Evi are wanted by police in California after allegedly failing to pay a $10,000 hotel bill.

The couple is accused of racking up the debt during a stay at the luxury San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara in June. According to reports, the star attempted to charge the bill to his credit card - but it was declined and he failed to produce another form of payment before leaving the resort without settling the invoice.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of both Randy and Evi Quaid on Monday on felony charges of allegedly burglarizing and defrauding the hotel owner.

A representative for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department confirmed the news on Thursday and said an arrest had yet to be made.

It's not the first legal woe for the pair this year - private investigator Becky Altringer is suing the Quaids for $19,000 in unpaid fees after they hired her to investigate death threats and an insurance fraud against them.
