The media focuses primarily on the failed careers of child stars, their rehab stints and jail time. Lindsay Lohan, Drew Barrymore, Corey Feldman, Britney Spears and Danny Bonaduce are among the celebrities who fall into that stereotypical troubled child star label. However, there have been a few child actors who grew up normal despite the media presence in their young lives.

Jerry O'Connell - The Jerry Maguire actor first appeared in Stand by Me in 1986 at the age of eleven. Following the movie, he went back to school and didn't return to the scene as a full time actor until after he graduated New York University.
