Gossip GirlSeptember will be the ultimate month of premieres. Viewers' favorite reality shows, comedies, and prime time dramas will return to the small screen, and you can feel the anticipation as people began to wonder what will happen next.

But before we hop in to new story lines with new plot twists and turns, let us look back at what happened on the previous season finales of some of our favorite shows:

90210 - Premieres Tuesday, September 8

Everything seemed to be going so well between Liam and Naomi when "90210" closed last season. They were getting close; Liam was sharing secrets; it was true bonding. Unfortunately, Liam wasn't the all-around nice guy Naomi dreamed he could be. When Naomi wanted to have the post-prom party at her and Jen's house, Jen flipped out. Naomi told her sister off, and Jen decided the best way to get back at her was to sleep with her boyfriend. She told Liam she was a neighbor, and Liam freaked out when he learned the truth.

Liam didn't say anything about who he slept with, but Naomi was convinced it was Annie. She said she never wanted to see him again, which won't be a problem because at the end of the episode two men practically kidnapped him and took him to some wilderness camp. She then caused a huge scene at the party, humiliating Annie, causing her to storm out of the house. Later, Annie, who probably shouldn't have been out driving, hits something and takes off. Not sure what she thought she hit, but the car that pulled up after her will probably let her know soon.

Ethan was finally forced to reveal he has feelings for Silver. Unfortunately, Dixon was the one who pushed him to do it. Silver and Dixon have been having problems since the middle of last season, and Ethan has been comforting her through those times. When it came down to comforting Dixon or running after Ethan on the finale, Silver chose running after Ethan.

Viewers finally saw the birth of Adrianna's daughter. Adrianna refused to see her at first, but after a dream that involved Brenda not visiting her dying father (don't worry Beverly Hills, 90210 fans, Jim Walsh is not really dying) she changed her mind. Adrianna then struggled with letting her go, but Brenda, no longer in dream form, convinced her it was for the best. She also quickly mentioned that she had just adopted a little girl from China.

Supernatural - Premieres Thursday, September 10

"Supernatural" Season 4 ended with Sam learning that not only was his brother Dean right about Ruby all along but that Lilith herself was the sixty-sixth seal that needed to be broken to unleash the apocalypse.

Even though Dean and Bobby had worked so hard just an episode prior to detox Sam from his demon blood addiction, he still fell victim to Ruby's cunning once again and went off with her to kill Lilith once and for all. Of course, this was Ruby's plan all along because she thought it would get her in "good" with the big guy downstairs...which she can now verify because Dean stabbed her right back to hell when he saw what she had his brother do.

Sam didn't have but a moment to deal with the effects of this, though, as a flash of white light practically blinded the guys. "He's coming" were the final words of the season-- being meant for Lucifer but also for his counterpart, the messiah who won't be too happy about how his angels and children have run amuck.

Gossip Girl - Premieres Monday, September 14

A nasty message sent mid-graduation prompted everyone to search for the identity of Gossip Girl. When Gossip Girl discovered Serena had been snooping she let the cat out of the bag on every dirty secret the group had, and everyone immediately turned on Serena for causing trouble. Lucky for Serena, Gossip Girl turned it all around for her, explaining to everyone that by letting out the secrets they kept they could all start over fresh. She claimed Serena had actually done them a favor. Everyone thought they would be rid of Gossip Girl because they were no longer in high school, but Gossip Girl will happily be following them wherever they go.

Georgina was back last season as a good girl at first, but her evil ways are quickly coming back since helping Blair and Serena con the con artists.

Another surprise visit last season came from Lily and Rufus' son, the one they think is dead. He made friends with Dan at the coffee shop. Dan doesn't know who his new friend truly is, but the son knows exactly who Dan is.

The best part of last season, though? Chuck and Blair finally getting together! The couple finally told each other they loved one another and shared a very hot, very public kiss. The perfect end to a perfect season; too bad it probably won't last.

One Tree Hill - Premieres Monday, September 14

Last season's finale of 'One Tree Hill' wasn't as exciting as some of the gripping previous episodes, but it put to bed a lot of questions viewers may have had due to a cliffhanger for a season end. Everything seemed to be calm in Tree Hill when viewers left, but it is doubtful it will stay that way.

After a scary pregnancy and a birth that nearly killed Peyton, newlyweds Lucas and Peyton welcomed their daughter, Sawyer, in to the world. Peyton was in a coma for the first couple of days but woke up in time to name her daughter and go for a family joyride in the Comet, which Lucas had rebuilt for her.

Brooke's mother finally told Brooke she loves her and is proud of her, plus she handed over 100 percent of Clothes Over Bros. She also urged Brooke to go after Julian, a piece of advice Brooke was happy to take.

Nathan surprised Haley with the news he had finally been picked up by the NBA, but will this mean a move to Charlotte for the family?
