Moviemaker Kevin Smith is planning to spend Labor Day 'tweeting' fans. The cult Clerks and Jersey Girl director admits he's been training for a marathon Twitter.com session for weeks - and fans can ask him anything on Monday.

A statement from Smith, who boasts over one million Twitter.com followers, reads, "I wanna see if I can do it. I've been training for this my whole life, simply by being a lazy fat ass who'd rather stare at a screen than better himself with a brisk constitutional. Someone asked what my training regiment is gonna be, and I told them I've already stockpiled lots of Count Chocula."

The 24-hour 'tweet-athon' will help launch publicity for Smith's upcoming book, Shootin the S--t With Kevin Smith, which hits stores on September 22.
