When asked about the honor of recieving a third Emmy nomination, the comedian replied "I feel like Susan Lucci.
"You know, it's really a thrill. I mean I play an annoying, unlikeable, fascist nerd, kiss-ass and yet the academy keeps nominating me for the category."
And his competition? "There's 5 other AMAZING actors nominated with me... The very sharp trophy could go to anyone.
"Neil Patrick Harris is masterful. Tracy Morgan is hysterical. Jack McBrayer is a horrible, horrible man who eats human babies. (i'm kidding) [he only eats alien and demon babies]"
While PopEater came to the conclusion that "Heavy Competition" (in which Amy Ryan was convinced Kevin was "special") was probably their favorite episode, Rainn said "The Injury" was very memorable to him. "I get a concussion, vomit on my car and my personality changes and I become friends with Pam! Love it!"
Rainn also had the "pleasure" of responding to an odd question: "If you were 2 b an exotic animal, what would you b & how would you run a country if he were that animal & president?"
He said: "I would be a badger... they are fierce and nocturnal.. I would get up at 6 PM and govern with sharp teeth by biting other world leaders and members of the opposing party. All would OBEY ME!!! FOR I AM THE BADGER KING!!!!!!!
"I would bite [an] eagle in the face with my king badger teeth and then throw a nation-wide badger party!
"Uh, oh. I really am turning into Dwight...."
