Amanda SeyfriedAmanda Seyfried has compared Hollywood to high school - insisting some A-list celebrities behave just like vicious teenagers.

Seyfried made her film debut in 2004 movie Mean Girls alongside Lindsay Lohan - and she admits the actresses in Tinseltown are a lot like the catty girls in the film

The Mamma Mia! star tells Allure magazine, "I liked Lindsay fine, but we were never friends... Hollywood is just like high school: The popular people love the other popular people. And the thing is, some people aren't nice. Or they are nice, but only to your face, not elsewhere."

And the 23 year old often feels insecure going up against beautiful women for film roles.

She adds, "I am surrounded by an industry full of beautiful actresses! They're everywhere! I do my fair share of judging when I see certain women on the covers of magazines. I think, why is she on the cover?"
