Eddie Van HalenRocker Eddie Van Halen only agreed to film a cameo role in the sitcom Two And A Half Men after star Charlie Sheen begged him - because he's terrified of acting.

The guitar legend has turned down numerous offers to appear on film and TV, but always says no because he suffers from performance anxiety.

However, pal Sheen talked him into accepting the walk-on role, and he's glad he said yes.

Van Halen says, "I typically shy away from these requests as I am not an actor, but Charlie and I are friends and since it was a scene with him, I agreed. Charlie and I had a great time, even though I was very nervous."

The episode airs on September 12th.
