Paul Reubens Brings Back Pee-Wee Herman
Pee-Wee Herman is back - actor Paul Reubens is reviving his zany character for a new theater project."The Pee-Wee Herman Show" will run at the Music Box theater in Los Angeles from November 19 to 29, and Reubens admits he's a little nervous about reviving his most famous character.
He tells the Los Angeles Times newspaper, "I've put part of him away for a long time, but part of him has always been here with me. I have some fear that he won't be funny after all this time. I don't want to ruin it."
Reubens retired bicycle-loving man-child Herman in 1990 after 13 episodes of Pee-Wee's Playhouse.
