Sixteen CandlesJohn Hughes had an amazing run as a writer and director and most of all inventor of the modern American teen movie as we know it today. If you grew up in the 80s you definitely understood this but may not have known the director behind all the classic movies that dealt adolescence and coming of age. Films like "The Breakfast Club," "Sixteen Candles," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "Weird Science" defined what is was to be a teenager in the 80's. Take a look at some of these clips.
