Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford and her ex-husband Daniel Giersch have settled their messy custody battle. In paperwork filed in Los Angeles, the former couple has agreed to relocate to New York while Rutherford shoots the TV drama there and they will share joint custody of their two children, according to TMZ.com.

New mom Rutherford, who filed for divorce in December, gave birth to the couple's second child, Helena Grace, in June.

At the height of the pair's custody battle, Rutherford accused her ex of being "angry" all the time and admitted she had hired a private detective to install cameras in her ex's Los Angeles home - to check on his parenting techniques.

In the midst of the court battle, Rutherford asked a judge to help the parents settle a toilet-training disagreement.
