Late actress Farrah Fawcett left the bulk of her multi-million dollar fortune to her troubled son Redmond O'Neal - excluding her long-term partner Ryan O'Neal from her will, according to reports.

The Charlie's Angles star lost her battle with anal cancer on last month, aged 62. Fawcett enjoyed a 15 year relationship with actor O'Neal which ended in 1997 - they reunited shortly after her cancer diagnosis in 2006.

The blonde beauty reportedly updated her will in 2007 and the document leaves the majority of her $5.5 million estate to 24-year-old Redmond, who has long battled addiction and is currently being held behind bars on drugs charges.

According to British tabloid The Mail on Sunday, Fawcett requested Redmond's inheritance be placed in a trust fund and controlled by two executors, who will give him a monthly allowance and funds to buy his own home.

A source tells the newspaper, "Farrah appointed two trustees to make sure the money supports her son's journey into sobriety rather than giving him the means to destroy himself. Redmond's inheritance will be tightly controlled."

The star is also reported to have left a portion of her money to Texas University.
