Teen superstar Miley Cyrus has dismissed reports her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas renewed their relationship by handing her a diamond commitment ring.

Cyrus split from boyfriend Justin Gaston earlier this year and has been dogged by speculation she has since revived her romance with the Jonas Brothers star, who she dated in 2007. The pair has denied the stories.

However, internet gossips were sent into a spin earlier this week after fresh romance rumors hit the web - with many claiming Jonas had presented Cyrus with a piece of jewelry to mark their dedication to each other.

Now, Cyrus has taken to her Twitter page to quash the gossip with a sarcastic post.

She writes, "I woke up this morning and thought I'd check up on the daily gossip and apparently Nick Jonas gave me a $75,000 ring? It's all true. Ha! Don't believe anything until I Tweet it. (Unless it's good news of course)."
