Baseball player Alex Rodriguez had a furious bust-up with a pal of Kate Hudson - after she smashed up his car.

A-Rod has been romantically linked to the You, Me and Dupree actress since they were spotted enjoying a romantic night out in New York earlier this month. She was also seen cheering him on during several of his New York Yankees games, surround by close friends.

However, Rodriguez had a falling out with one of Hudson's pals after she reportedly dented his car as she gave Hudson a ride.

A source tells RadarOnline.com, "Kate Hudson's girlfriend, the one she is seen with at Yankee games, has been driving his Suburban with Kate every morning, bright and early, to get coffee. A short time later the friend pulled around the car for Alex. As soon as he saw the rear of the vehicle and the damage done, he had her get out of the car and started talking about her reckless driving."

"He was visibly upset. The crash was so bad the license plate was obscured. He was ranting and raving while she stood there sheepishly."
