Michael JacksonA new video of Michael Jackson's 1984 Pepsi commercial, in which the singer's hair catches fire from exploding fireworks, has been released. Watch it after the break.

Jackson was filming the TV spot in L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium on Jan. 27, 1984. On the sixth take, the fireworks appear to go off too soon, lighting Michael's hair on fire. He seems unaware of the flames burning his hair for several seconds, continuing to dance until helpers rush the stage and put out the fire.

The stunt-gone-wrong is associated with the start of Michael Jackson's drug use, as several painkillers were prescribed for multiple scalp surgeries and the pain associated with the second and third-degree burns he suffered to his head, face, and body.

In 1993, Michael Jackson enter rehab to be treated for an addiction to painkillers. When police searched the home Michael Jackson died in, they reportedly found powerful painkillers and anesthesia drugs Propofol and Diprivan.
