Anne Hathaway rewarded fans waiting in line to see her final performance in Shakespeare play "Twelfth Night" - by bringing them pizza.

Theatre lovers desperate to see Hathaway close her run in New York's annual Shakespeare in the Park event last week had to wait overnight for tickets, which were made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

But queuing fans got more than just a pass to the show - the actress arrived at 3am on Sunday to personally thank them for their support.

And she didn't show up empty-handed - generous Hathaway brought a giant box of pizza and offered a slice to every person in line.
