18-year-old Emma has decided to go to college in the United States, but that doesn't mean her acting career is over. She explained, "I feel like I do want to continue definitely, I just want a normal experience for a bit. I think the media found it confusing that I wanted to go to university and sort of don't really understand why I'm doing this. So they sort of jumped to that conclusion."

Being grown up means Emma also has to deal with the media more often, including defending shots of her inadvertently flashing her underwear. At the London "Harry Potter" premiere, Emma's dress was parted in the front offering viewers a glimpse at her underwear.

She told David Letterman, "This was a small wardrobe malfunction. I don't really remember when this happened...At least I'm wearing underwear." Watson then appears to mouth "so embarrassing!"
