Michael Jackson Without His BrainMichael Jackson's family is awaiting the return of the King of Pop's brain before planning a burial. The late star's brain was retained for tests by the Los Angeles coroner's office following an autopsy but one official insists Jackson won't be laid to rest until his remains are complete. Assistant chief coroner Ed Winter says, "As soon as we are done with the brain, we will return it. The last I heard, they (family) are not burying the body yet."

It is still not known where Jackson will be buried, but his golden casket, which took center stage at the Jackson memorial in Los Angeles on Tuesday, is at a top secret location.

Reports suggest the pop star's remains have been returned to Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills, where family members staged a private service before the public memorial at the Staples Center.

A burial permit has reportedly been filed by the family in Los Angeles County, suggesting Jackson's remains will be interred in Los Angeles.
