Pop star Nick Jonas has sparked speculation he is planning to enroll at the college after he was spotted touring the campus.

The teen idol, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers band, took time off from his current tour to visit Northwestern University in Illinois with his dad, Paul, on Monday. The 16 year old tried go unnoticed as he walked the grounds without a security guard, but other prospective teens couldn't help but notice the Disney star in their midst.

A fellow student described the encounter in an online blog: "Today I was visiting Northwestern University by Chicago, IL and around 2PM after the school tour was over my friend and I spotted Nick Jonas and his dad who were also visiting."

"Not many people noticed him because he didn't have big security or his other brothers, but he did take pictures with us. He was really nice, well-mannered, and shy. He thanked us for being fans."
