Unemployed farmer Kevin Skinner stole the show with his performance of Garth Brooks' If Tomorrow Never Comes leading judge Piers Morgan to comment, "One of the most emotional, powerful performances I've seen in a long time."

Other notable performers included 62-year-old Carol Lugo who did the moonwalk, 14-year-old Thia Megia who sang 'I Am Changing' by Jennifer Holliday and Jay Mattioli the Magician.

Despite the traditional summer TV slump, viewers have been tuning in to watch 'Talent.' Last week's season premiere was the #1 series debut of the summer to date in total viewers topping the premiere of all other new and returning series since the May sweeps.
