Actor Josh Duhamel has been forced to put off plans for a baby by new wife Fergie - because the singer is never home.

The couple married in January, and both stars have been candid about their desire to start a family soon.

Reports suggested last month the Black Eyed Peas singer was eager to adopt because her demanding work schedule leaves her little time for a pregnancy.

However the Transformers star has decided to wait until his wife is home and the couple can have a biological child.

He says, "I don't know (when we will have children). We have to be in the same (place) before we can."
