Farrah Fawcett's longtime partner Ryan O'Neal has arranged for the star to be laid to rest in a private ceremony on Tuesday.

The actress died on Thursday after losing her three-year battle with cancer at the age of 62.

The actor - who shared 24-year-old son Redmond O'Neal with Fawcett - will be joined by close family and friends at the late actress' funeral at 4 p.m. Pacific Coast time, reports People.com.

Reports have also indicated troubled Redmond - who is undergoing intensive drug treatment in a remote California prison following his April arrest on drugs charges - has been granted permission by prison officials to pay his last respects. He was allowed out of prison to visit his cancer-stricken mother twice since his arrest.
